THE ROYLE GOLF SYSTEMS
THE NEW TEACHING EXPERIENCE
It is generally recognised that there is a strong link between a good repeating golf swing and consistent results. Also there are distinctively similar characteristics in the swings of most accomplished players. However, it is difficult for most golfers to identify with these characteristics and to recognise how a good golf swing should feel. Often what feels right is wrong, and what feels wrong initially, is right, so it is hard for a pupil to adapt to the changes which are necessary. Royle Golf systems overcome this problem in an unique way by giving the teaching professional a method to analyse pupils' swings and communicate what is required more effectively, more convincingly and in less time.
THE SET - UP
Many golfers' problems arise because of incorrect set-up. With Royle Golf systems it is quite possible to give a player a professional stance in minutes. It is so easy to adopt the right set-up when the outline of a master golfer of similar height and build is accurately superimposed over a pupil's live image which he can see on a screen in front of him. He can alter his stance and posture until it fits the outline displayed on the screen. Repetition and practice in adopting the displayed stance soon conveys the feeling of the new, correct set-up.
THE SWING
The high quality and advanced technology of the Royle Golf systems enable recordings of a swing to be played back and reviewed at full speed, in slow motion and frame by frame. The path of the hands and the clubhead can be analysed making the professional's comments much easier for a pupil to understand as he sees his swing in this detail.
Teaching is further enhanced by superimposing the unique active graphics of the correct swing plane onto the screen. All aspects of the golfer's swing can immediately be compared with the lines and angles displayed. With a little practice, the pupil is soon able to swing and strike the ball whilst being guided along the right lines on the screen.
By this method the system conveys the sensation of the correct swing shape and enables the pupil to adapt to the feeling of the new swing more easily and with increased confidence.
MONITORING CHANGES
The Royle Golf system can store the record of each player's lesson so that any changes to his set-up or swing, for better or worse, can be easily identified in the future. This facility provides encouragement to improving players and, just as importantly, can provide reasons why golfers are experiencing a loss of form.
